Shortcoat Army Green

Originally featured in a 1954 Rogers Peet Company advertisement as the “Short-Warm”, this distinctive coat returns with a contemporary construction, preserving the character and functional details of the archival design.

Rooted in American outerwear tradition, the Shortcoat Army Green features a relaxed silhouette, raglan sleeves, a classic shirt collar and three distinctive metal harness-style fastenings — a defining detail of the original model.

The contemporary version is crafted from a waxed fabric composed of 45% cotton, 16% polyamide and 39% polyester, with light internal padding for added warmth and comfort without unnecessary bulk.

Designed for effortless layering over an Oxford shirt, Shetland knitwear or more casual pieces, the Shortcoat brings a documented piece of Rogers Peet history into the contemporary Ivy Officer wardrobe.
